IFMA OKC – August Luncheon

Our Guest David Walls will be speaking on Business Ethics. 

David is a business owner and attorney with over 30 years of experience practicing law in the areas of construction law, business law, oil and gas law, and estate planning.  He attended the University of Texas for his undergraduate business degree and is old enough to remember when the Longhorns were good at sports.  David went on to obtain his law degree from Oklahoma City University and is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Texas.

After working for two of the largest law firms in Oklahoma, David was retained as General Counsel for an oil and gas company and its related entities, while maintaining a small private law practice.  In February 2020, he started his own law firm where he assists small business owners and entrepreneurs with their business formation, merger, sale, and dissolution matters.  He is a member of several state construction trade groups where he is a frequent speaker and has taught as an adjunct in the construction management department of Oklahoma State University.

With 3 kids in college, several small businesses to run, and an active law practice, David doesn’t have a lot of downtime.  When possible he enjoys competing in triathlons and playing golf.
